Jerry Haraguchi,
Commissioned Pastor
Jerry serves as a Commissioned Pastor after nearly 20 years as Director of Family Ministry at La Habra Hills. He is passionate about helping people grow in their faith, experience the transforming love of Jesus, and live lives devoted to loving God and serving others. Jerry loves making Scripture accessible, practical, and relevant to everyday life.
Before coming to La Habra Hills, Jerry and his wife, Kelly, served in college ministry with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. They are grateful parents of two adult daughters and have a heart for walking alongside people through every season of life and pointing them toward the faithfulness of God. When he’s not teaching or meeting with people, Jerry enjoys spending time with family and friends, relaxing with a good cup of coffee, watching baseball, and trying to stay active.
Lauren Krynen,
Director of CHildren’s Ministries
Anthony Green, Director of
Youth Ministries
As the Youth Ministry Director, Anthony works to teach Gospel-centered lessons and provide a fun, safe, and joyful space for students to discover who God has made them to be. Anthony has a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics and a minor in Biblical Studies from Biola University. He lives in Fullerton with his wife Sarah. Together they love music, theater, the arts, movies, and food. His greatest joy in ministry is worshipping alongside students and families as they live life together and experience the goodness of God.
Alyssa Uitvlugt, Worship Coordinator
Alyssa’s ultimate goal is to glorify God with all she does. Music has been a key aspect of her life from the start, and though her skills are sharpest on piano, she loves using vocal harmony to bring people together. As Worship Coordinator, she goes beyond the standard measures to tie in a diverse blend of songs & styles and remove the accidental barriers of worship so everyone can encounter His holy presence.
Alyssa lives in Whittier with her husband, Caleb and their goofy Labrador, Delta, and teaches Spanish at Whittier Christian High School. When she isn’t fine-tuning the Sunday setlist, she’s likely soaking up the sun, watching science fiction, or spending time with family. For Alyssa, there is no greater joy than using the talents God has cultivated in her to bless His people.
